Terms of Service
General Information
By purchasing a fursuit from Buckaroo Fursuits you agree to have read and accept the terms of service. Skimming through the TOS, misunderstanding something or forgetting details does not mean you are exempt from the rules.
During the process I will reiterate certain terms to ensure you understand.
Fursuit heads have low vision! Impacted vision does not entitle you to a refund. This is an unavoidable part of fursuits, your vision will not be 20/20.

Age Restrictions:
If you are under 18, please stop now and ask a parent/guardian to read through the TOS and fill out the Quote Form.
Neglecting to follow this rule as a minor will permanently blacklist you from commissioning in the future. If I discover you have lied about your age, your fursuit will not be completed until an adult consents to the project and handles all future payments. If they do not consent to it, I will discuss the next course of action with them.
If you are purchasing for your child please ensure they give you a proper reference of their character. I am not liable for missed details or miscommunication from you or your child. If your child is under 16, I require a parent/guardian to be apart of the chats from start to finish in a group chat setting.
Pet Allergy Warning:
If you have severe allergies to animals please do no risk ordering a fursuit from Buckaroo Fursuits. I have cats and chinchillas, two animals that are incredibly allergy-triggering and I cannot guarantee there isn’t any loose pet-fur floating around, and my cats have access to my craftroom.
Pricing:
Prices for commissions can be found under my “custom costumes” section of my website.
You will be expected to pay 50% of the product total up front. The remainder is expected when your costume is near-completion. If the buyer wishes to pay everything in full that is acceptable but not necessary.
If the buyer fails to pay off their costume within 100 days it will be refurred into a new character and sold as a premade. The buyer will not receive a refund for the work done and may be blacklisted from future business. This will not be done without warning. If money issues arise on your end I am willing to work with you. However, if it becomes a pattern I will give up to 3 verbal warnings before cutting ties.
If you are selected from my Quote form:
You will receive a second form which will add you to my list of potential clients. Not everyone will be placed on the Queue as I only take 3 people at any given time, but you can always resubmit in the future if you were not selected.
If you receive the second form, please only submit it if you are happy with your costumes price-tag and plan to follow through. If I select you after the second form I will reach out.
Congrats! You received the second form and got selected! From there, you will be asked to send a non-refundable deposit of $50 to hold your spot. This deposit is not an extra fee and will come out of your quoted total. (Example: If your total was $750 and you put down your deposit, you would then only owe $700 by the time your slot is coming up)
If you are not ready by the time you’re next in line you can continue holding your spot for an additional $50 deposit (still coming out of your quoted total) This can only be done once. If asked again, we may be able to discuss further but it really depends on my current financial status. I am a solo-artist and this is my main source of income, so please bare with me!

Payment Plans:
Buckaroo Fursuits does accept payment plans!
If a payment plan is selected the buyer is still required to pay the deposit As for the commission cost itself, we can work together to find a reasonable amount/time pattern that works for both of us.
Payment plans require an additional $30 fee that will automatically be added to the product total. This is necessary to cover multiple bank-transfers that would otherwise come out of my pocket. Pay-in-full customers do not have this extra fee.
I offer a monthly, weekly and bi-weekly pattern. If you have the funds early then you do not have to wait the entire month/week. However, this will not speed up the progress of your fursuit.
If you make a late payment:
First offense: Verbal Warning
Second offense: $15 fee
Third offense: $15 fee and urgent verbal warning.
Fourth offense: No fee, but cancellation without refund.
Your fursuit will only be sent once your payment plan has been paid in full. If you can not finish your payments you will not receive your suit. If a fair reason is provided I am willing to work with extensions but will not hold your suit forever.

False chargebacks will be fought against. I keep all receipts of messages, agreements and payments.
Failure to pay your suit off within 100 days of work-progression (without the approval of an extension) results in a non-refundable cancellation.

Shipping:
It is important to have extra money set aside for shipping. Please note that Buckaroo Fursuits only ships to and from the USA at this time. Shipping can cost anywhere as low as $30 or as high as $200+ depending on your item's weight, size and shipping location.
I cannot get an exact estimate on shipping until the suit is completed. If the buyer does not have enough funds for shipping once completed I will hold the suit until shipping is paid for. However, I will not hold it indefinitely.
If a hold is needed we will discuss a date that works for us both.
The buyer is expected to pay the full shipping cost and an additional $10 to cover taxes, packaging and gas required to drive to the PO. As soon as your package has shipped it is no longer in my hands, meaning I am not liable for any damages or lost suits caused by shipping.
You will be charged for insurance on your package. This means that you can file a dispute with the PO if your suit is lost or damaged. I do not have any control over the amount of money the PO may refund if something goes wrong. I am not liable for mishaps during shipping.

Shipping address:
Of course, I’ll need a shipping address and name. This must be your full legal name and home/PO Box address. If you have given me the wrong address or name it will not be sent to you. Two outcomes can come of a wrong address being given:
If you are using a PO box please ensure your post office will accept large packages.
If your legal name is a deadname you wish to keep private you can put it under another household members name if they grant permission.
Wear-and-Tear and Repairs:
Fursuits, like other costumes, don’t last forever. It will become old over time and need repairs. It is recommended you know basic sewing or have someone on-hand who can help you make repairs.
Buckaroo Fursuits does offer repairment and alteration services if needed, but it is not always available.
The Commission Process:
Consistent contact is important!!
During the process I will be asking frequent questions, I do not expect an immediate response but please reply in a timely manner or else it can halt the process of your costume's completion.
Please do not leave my messages on seen/read! I do not want to pester you for more information. If you become busy please inform me as I try to work on suits in a timely manner.
If I ask a question please respond in great detail.
If I reach out with important information please give me a quick "I understand" - please do not just send an emoji reaction as that does not give me proper confirmation that you have read what I am trying to tell you!
My offline work schedule differs every week, meaning I may have the time to work on your suit one day, but the next day will be very busy. This is just to say that failure to reply in a timely manner may result in a few days without progress.
Do not pester me for updates! I send progress photos whenever I get to a decent checkpoint. There may be halts in progression some weeks while others are consistent.
If you want to change something that was not detailed in your reference you will be asked to pay an alteration fee.
Quality of Work
I am not yet a professional maker but I take my time and use the best materials I can find. There will be flaws! No fursuit maker is perfect, but if you are looking for professional quality you may want to look elsewhere.
If you see a mistake during the process please inform me so I can try my best to correct any mistakes!
Please keep in mind that fursuits have an "ugly phase" - there may be times where you are unsure about how you feel about the looks of your suit. I ask you to trust the process, but if something is bugging you don't be afraid to ask!

- Worst case scenario: Your fursuit will become unclaimed mail and there is nothing I can do on my part if the PO is unable to track your package.
